Chapter and Verse

It’s interesting how many people believe they’re in a position to argue about this book who don’t study it diligently or even casually read it on any sort of consistent basis. And then when someone who does spend a decent amount of time studying the Bible tries to point others to some truth in it, they’re met with opposition, sometimes vehement opposition. When you take into honest consideration the opposition expressed, almost invariably the opposition includes language like “I feel”, and “I think”, and doesn’t provide a single scripture to backup said feelings and thoughts.

Unsubstantiated accusations of impropriety and malfeasance often accompany insults, slander and libel, and attempted character assassination of the actually learned by the ignorant. Misappropriated affection is to blame. People love themselves, their traditions, and their sins more than they love THE TRUTH who is the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is THE WORD made flesh. If Jesus were truly a person’s first love, they would be so in love with His written word that they would spend more time studying it/ Him more than they spend pursuing the world. But they don’t actually love Jesus more than this world or their life so He takes a lesser place in their lives and the fruit of the words that are spoken reveal their heart.

All of this is obviously expected from a lost world who has never professed a commitment to make Jesus Lord of their lives, but the tragic reality is most of those who call themselves Christians fall into this same trap. The trap of believing they are close to and right with God simply because they prayed a prayer once and or have kept up with a few religious habits. And then believing they have some sort of moral high ground to speak from any position of authority on Biblical matters. Pharisees. God sees the unclean heart even if the outside looks clean.

Sadly today, those who falsely claim to be the Bride of Christ don’t even put forth much effort to present the outside as clean! Indistinguishable from the world in nearly every regard when The Holy One demands that we be set apart and holy for He is holy. Today holiness isn’t revered, it’s hated by the cold and lukewarm. It’s the result of an unanswered call. People feel the tug of the Holy Spirit pulling them to Himself. They say, “yes Lord”. But their hearts remain far from Him, because as He calls us to Himself and we continue to take a step toward Him, He makes us more like Him, and at some point, most people decide they don’t like the cost. They aren’t willing to turn loose of some sin to allow impurity to be purged from them. At some point they draw back and aren’t willing to pay the cost of true and full death to self in order to remain Jesus’s disciple. All while attempting stolen valor to continue wearing the T-shirt that says “True Christian”.

The world applauds and validates, and dead teachings at dead churches void of the fire of God further embolden this half-hearted foot-in-both-worlds strategy. Blood is on the hands of every Pastor who fails to warn the people that they must REPENT of their sins, in addition to believing that a man named Jesus who lived was actually the son of God. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS GOD IN THE FLESH AND HE IS ALIVE. HE IS THE SAME, YESTERDAY, AND FOREVER. He is mighty to save but He is also a righteous judge and MOST of the people who call themselves Christians are going to hear DEPART FROM ME INTO EVERLASTING FIRE because they never truly yielded to Him fully.

It’s ok. I understand the pride of the flesh and I still battle it too. I forgive everyone who slanders and attacks me when I’m trying to reprove darkness and point to The Light. But if you’re suffering from some sort of mental or emotional distress and you can’t figure out why this Pastor doesn’t seem moved when I tell him he is mean and too strict it’s because you’ve believed lies about the full character of God and haven’t experienced His POWER personally enough to FEAR the Living God appropriately. As wicked and pathetic and selfish as I can be, I’ve yielded enough to be usable and the Lord has touched me and revealed Himself to me to the degree that I am without excuse to not be found in obedience. I fear God infinitely more than I fear man, and I’ve endured enough false reproaches that I’m developing some callouses.

That’s what really gets people. They try to manipulate me through witchcraft to stop preaching the word of God and not only do I refuse to bow to them, I double down and call them wicked again without remorse. You do you boo. But my hands are clean. Most of y’all aren’t even lukewarm, you’re outright cold, but your final destination won’t be if you don’t repent and ask the Lord to give you a heart that truly loves Him more than everything and is willing to be obedient to Him no matter what. Time is short. Love and fear the Lord, and live accordingly. Or nah, but that’s on you, and you will reap what you’re sowing and you’re not going to like it. In the meantime, keep your mouth shut and stop misrepresenting the Bible. And if you disagree with something I’ve said, please provide the chapter and verse, because your thoughts and feelings are quite literally irrelevant.
