Jesus My Beloved

Some people have a hard time understanding how we can still have free will when God is all powerful. How can He call all men and women to Himself and allow them to reject Him? How can He somehow choose us and allow us to choose Him? If it’s His strength that makes it possible and He is the one that gives us the gift of faith, what really is our role and how do you reconcile that we somehow have an active role to play in this beautiful drama He so brilliantly and eloquently orchestrated? Friends at some level it will always be a mystery. His ways are greater than ours and we cannot always comprehend what the one who always was and always will be comprehends. But I do know these things to be true. He does call all men and women to Him. He desires that we should all repent and accept His gift of eternal life through the blood sacrifice of Christ Jesus. I think it kinda goes like this. He knows ahead of time who will be rebellious and who will choose to surrender, but He still calls us all, and His hearts still breaks and mourns over the hard-hearted who choose wickedness. When He calls us, however small the whisper or however loud the shout, we have an opportunity to answer with a yes. A yes with our words and a yes with our hearts and ultimately a yes with our hands and feet. As we grow in maturity we can choose to spend more time with Him and we can choose to get to know Him better. We can choose to seek Him in deeper places. And He is faithful in His timing to allow us to find Him in those deeper places if we resolve to seek and keep seeking until the prayer is answered, with full faith that it will be. So let this song be an example of a prayer that brings your will into alignment with the Fathers heart. Whatever you pray in accordance to His will shall be done. Pray diligently and ask the Father to give you a heart that longs for Him. Ask Him for a burning desire to know Him more. Ask Him for the strength to sacrifice your flesh daily in obedience to Him. Ask to hear His voice. Pray that He would keep you faithful. Pray that He would break any other soul ties and bind you only to Him. Pretty soon you will know in your soul that He is with you and that you are His beloved truly. Seek Him friends. He is the treasure. Nothing else matters and there is short time remaining. He desires that you would choose Him today, right now, and every day from now until he calls you home or He returns. Find peace in Him. Find rest in Him. Surrender the most beautiful surrender. And in surrendering, you find true victory.
