Mormonism
It’s nice to remain kind and agreeable, and of course being respectful is a way to build bridges so that hopefully hearts will be opened up as more fertile ground to receive The Truth through all of the rapport you’re building with the LDS community. But I have to ask, at what point as an “evangelical” do you actually evangelize? Admittedly this is the first video of his that I’ve seen, so hopefully the anointing kicks in to really preach the death and resurrection of Jesus elsewhere in his ministry, but my first impression is that like so much of the church, this pastor prioritizes relationships so highly that the gospel isn’t truly shared with these poor lost souls. At some point we’ve got to cut those we love with the sword which is the very word of God, to preach repentance to them, and to reveal to them the truth that they have been lured deep into a cult that is sending them to hell and eternal separation with God Almighty. Otherwise we don’t really love them right? Joseph Smith was a blasphemer and false prophet. Mormonism is demonic and their ceremonies are tied to freemasonry. The Mormons I’ve met have all been super kind, but we shouldn’t avoid telling these kind people that Satan masquerades as an angel of light and deceives people strategically, and one of his strategies for separating people from true salvation in the precious free gift of salvation offered to us through the shed blood and resurrection of Jesus is false religions, even those that seem kind and helpful, when they are based on works. Jesus is not Satan’s brother. We don’t ascend to be God in charge of our own universe to create new people to worship us with our multiple wives. We don’t need magic underwear to be right with God. We don’t need other men to watch us consummate our marriage with our wife in order for it to be sacred. It’s all vile, perverted, and blasphemous, and any Pastor who fellowships with these poor lost souls without telling them the truth is going to have blood on his hands when he is judged.
