Thankful for the "Weight"

Was finishing a set this morning in my garage and experienced several blessings.
First, I got a great workout. Blood pumping. Lungs breathing. The dumbbells at the gym that I normally go to don’t go up this high so I recognized and appreciated the value and difference that specific items can bring.
I thanked the Lord.
I said, “Thank you Lord for this weight”, knowing that without this specific weight, the growth I would have been able to achieve would be lesser than.
And then it hit me…
I should be just as thankful for every “weight” in my life. Every “thing” that’s heavy or hard. Every situation. Every challenge. Every hardship. Without them, the same growth wouldn’t be possible in my life.
This wasn’t really a new revelation, just a fresh appreciation. A renewed and properly focused perspective. A re-appreciation. A re-gratitude. And a re-pentance. Repenting over murmuring and complaining. Repenting over ingratitude. Repenting over self-pity. Not that there has been an abundance of self-pity and ingratitude, but any amount is really completely inappropriate.
It’s a blessing to be able to more fully appreciate the blessings that are already right here.
So blessed.
As are you all.
You have the ability to unlock blessings in your life. This isn’t manifesting new lusts, it’s simply opening your eyes to the reality of the blessings we’re already in possession of, but under-valuing.
I pray you take a moment to accurately value the weights and results in your life.
Don’t listen to liars that try to get you to pawn your treasure for pennies. Don’t agree with lies that diminish the value you perceive in your life. Tell those demons to be removed.
Stay well and be blessed in Jesus’ name.
